Rolwaling represents a section of the Himalaya in the east central Nepal, along with the border. Once this route was explored for the hunt of Yeti, which has not been successful so far. People here believe that there are Yeti and even some elderly people claims that they have seen one.
Rolwaling trek is one of the high altitude trek in Nepal, which is one of the best routes of adventure seekers. Melungtse 7181m, Melungtse II 7023m, Gauri Shankar 7134 along with 50 additional peaks over 6000m, all of these could be viewed from the while being at Nangpa La pass. It is one of the most difficult treks in Nepal and therefore requires well equipped experienced staff, with technical climbing experience.
Rowaling trek is not a family trek as this route requires camping in high altitude area, followed by Nepal and Tibet border. However, views are not only limited to Mountains, but also glaciers like Tsho Rolpa, one of the biggest glacial lake in Nepal situated at an altitude of 4590m. Beautiful villages like Beding, Na gaun, gives this route one of the lifetime experience a trekker could have.
