This is the perfect trek for the hikers looking for easy trekking areas around Kathmandu. In addition, this trek could also be perfect as a warmup trekking for the trekkers looking forward to doing longer treks in the future. On the other hand, the mesmerizing view of the community by the side of Himalayas is something that makes this trek a perfect experience. During spring you could see lots of rhododendron and a multitude of other wildflowers. A quiet walk could be a better option if you wish to see some peaceful wild animals like deers and pheasants.
The first day of the trek will take you 2-3 hours uphill depending upon your walking pace. Other days will be easy gradual uphill or flat terrain. Chisapani and Nagarkot are already very famous for some of the best sunrise and sunset views. The serenity of the foothills and mountains while passing through these locales makes this trek a perfectly refreshing and tranquil one. Nonetheless, the last day experience at Namobuddha monastery will give you a completely different spiritual experience. Listening to the beautiful Tibetan chanting, viewing the enormous stupa which was built with beautiful architecture, and being able to participate in the prayer with the monks will surely make you a happier and wiser person. The downhill village hike towards Panauti alongside beautiful orange fields is another indulgence that you experience on the last day of the trek.

- Trek starts with stairs, which could be strenuous in the beginning
